with Kahili Joseph's team, Commonwealth Projects, and LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division), I was responsible for designing and implementing, 10 site-specific&nbsp;BLKNWS installations across South Los Angeles. Each installation was carefully tailored to it specific site, ranging from coffee shops and medical clinics to museums, galleries, a barber shop, a mini-mart, and a beloved local restaurant. Our objective was to bring BLKNWS directly to the communities it serves.The citywide presentation of BLKNWS® is co-prduced by the Hammer Museum and LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division) for Made in L.A. 2020. Both exhibitions transformed commerical buildings to create an immersive enviornment of street art and graffiti. LOS ANGELES 2018&nbsp;Beyond The Streets is the premier exhibition of graffiti, street art and beyond, celebrating the soaring heights to which the world’s most recognizable modern art movement has risen. BTS is a groundbreaking multimedia showcase of paintings, sculpture, photography, installations and more. Streets act as the symbolically important public stage that is both local and universal, the bedrock for both public protest and anonymous action. Our team worked alongside them to design and build an environment that could adapt to their needs. Our objective was to design these products to seamlessly integrate into the van's interior wall’s, utilizing a locking system connected to tracks. To achieve this, I used SketchUp to recreate the floor plans of an existing commercial space situated on Melrose Avenue. The design incorporated key elements, such as an open kitchen and back-of-house area, mirroring the layout found in the original Mexico City location. Held at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Little Tokyo, Downtown Los Angeles, this milestone event featured a range of exciting attractions. Attendees experienced the Hello Kitty Super Supermarket, offering exclusive convention merchandise and immersive experiences. They explored a Hello Kitty retrospective and vintage shop, showcasing rare collectibles. The convention also included workshops, lectures, panel discussions, a tattoo shop, art installations, and numerous photo opportunities. With over 30,000 attendees, the sold-out Hello Kitty Con 2014 took place from October 30th to November 2nd, coinciding with Hello Kitty's official anniversary on November 1st. <img width="1349"
